|
Young animals can be combined in almost any community
aquarium.
Adults are extremely intolerant and aggressive to others of
their species but they can be kept with other quiet species.
It will eat soft-leaved plants so is best kept in a tank
with large stones, bogwood, and sturdy plants such as Java
ferns and Anubias. A good filtration is necessary.
It feeds on plants and tiny invertebrates. It uses the
headstanding position when feeding. |
