You can not keep this fish together with fishes that are a
lot smaller because they are eaten. Males are rather
aggressive to each other so it is not wise to keep more than
one male. The aquarium should be set up with
driftwood, roots and stones that make hiding places.
Plants can be used for decoration as well. A dimmed
light by using floating plants and a dark substrate bring
out the colours of the fish. A territory is made. They are omnivorous. You should give them a great variety of live, frozen and dry food. About breeding in the aquarium not much is known. |
