Peaceful, somewhat shy fish that will not exhibit much
daytime activity in an improperly designed environment.
Rather, they will stay in the shadows afforded by wood ,
rocks and floating plants. The fish permanently looks after
food in the substrate, therefore a soft sandy substrate is
essential. Plants cannot be used. The fish is omnivorous but has a preference for worms. Captive breeding has not been achieved. |
