This fish should be kept in groups of six or more. If
kept in smaller groups, fish may become aggressive to each
other. Combine with calm fish that are not aggressive
towards getting food, because this species does not compete
for food and starves. They feed mostly on algae and plants. Feeding with vegetables is necessary. They also like life food, frozen and dry food are accepted as well. About breeding in the aquarium not much is known.
