The fishes should be put in a separate aquarium with a spawning grid and fine leaved plants in the evening. In the morning sun they spawn between the plants. After spawning you should remove the parents because they eat their own eggs. After 30-36 hours the eggs hatch, and a few days later the young fishes are swimming free. You can raise them with small infusoria. |
