This very large cichlid is not suited for the aquarium in
our home. You only can keep them in a large, public
aquarium in a zoo. They cannot be kept together with
smaller fish because they think it is food. The
aquarium should be decorated with stones, driftwood and
roots that create hiding places where they can retreat. You should give them powerful live food such as fish, mussel, Mysis and beefheart. Breeding in the aquarium is impossible because he is too large. |
