Peaceful, large schooling fish, only suited for a very large
aquarium because he needs a lot of free swimming space.
When the aquarium is to small they become shy. The
aquarium should be set up with roots and driftwood because
they need hiding places. Plants that are to soft are
eaten so you better don't use them. They don't care
about the water quality.
You should give them mainly vegetable food like spinach and lettuce. Fruit is eaten as well. Captive breeding has not been achieved.
