Peaceful fish that you can keep together with other peaceful
fishes. The aquarium should be planted densely.
A dark substrate and a dimmed light by using floating plants
bring out the colours of the fish. A regular changing
of the water is necessary. You should give them small live food. Frozen food is accepted as well. They don't like dry food. Breeding is not difficult. The eggs are laid and fertilized between fine leaved plants such as javamoss. The eggs hatch after a week. You can raise the young fishes with baby brine shrimp. |
