Most tolerant Julidochromis. Only during breeding time
he is aggressive. Then he digs in the substrate as
well. The aquarium should be decorated with a lot of
rocks that form caves and crevices. Here the fish can
retreat. Some hard plants such as Vallisneria can be
used for decoration as well. They are omnivorous. You should give the a great variety of live, frozen and dry food. Breeding is rather easy. The eggs are laid in a cave. The parents hardly care for the fry but they defend the territory very strong. |
