Peaceful schooling fish that can not be kept in an aquarium
with plants because they will eat them. The aquarium
should be set up with driftwood, roots and stones that make
hiding places. In the middle you should leave a lot of
free swimming space. A regular large changing of the
water and a powerful filter are necessary. You should give them mainly vegetable food such as lettuce and algae. Vegetable dry food and live food such as Tubifex and Daphnia are accepted as well. About breeding in the aquarium not much is known. |
