Peaceful schooling fish that can be kept best in a special
aquarium for rainbow fishes. The aquarium should be
planted densely on the sides and background. In the
middle you should leave a lot of free swimming space.
You should give them small live food and regularly some vegetable food like algae for a change. Dry food is accepted as well. Breeding is not easy. During several days 20-30 eggs are laid and fertilized between fine leaved plants. After 7-8 days the eggs hatch. Not much is known yet. |
