Peaceful schooling fish that you can keep together with
other fishes that are not too small. Small fishes are
eaten because they think it is food. The aquarium
should be set up with driftwood and roots on the sides and
background. Hard plants can be used as well. In
the middle you should leave a lot of free swimming space.
Use a tank with a dark substrate, good aeration and
clear water. They are very sensitive for nitrate. They are omnivorous. You should give them a great variety of live, frozen and dry food. A part of the food should be vegetable. About breeding in the aquarium nothing is known. |
