|
Peaceful, calm schooling fish that can be kept together with
other calm fishes. The aquarium should be planted
densely on the sides and background. In the middle you
should leave enough free swimming space. A dark substrate
and a dimmed light by using floating plants bring out the
colours of the fish. A peat filter is appreciated.
A regular changing of the water is necessary. You should give them live food. Frozen and dry food are accepted as well. Because this fish is not kept very much little is known about breeding in the aquarium. Possibly it is not very difficult and about the same as N. palmeri. |
