Rather predatory fish. In his natural habitat he feeds
on small shell dwellers. You should keep them together
with other large cichlids and catfishes from Lake
Tanganyika. The aquarium should be set up with rocks
and stones that form caves and crevices. You can use some
plants such as Giant Vallisneria as well. A regular
changing of the water and a good filter are necessary. You should give them live food. After habituation frozen food is accepted as well. About breeding in the aquarium nothing is known. |
