Peaceful schooling fish that can be kept together in a
special aquarium for rainbowfishes. The aquarium
should be planted densely on the sides and background.
In the middle you should leave a lot of free swimming space. You should give them small live food. Frozen and dry food are accepted as well. Breeding is not difficult. Eggs are laid and fertilized every day between fine leaved plants or a spawning mop. You can collect the eggs and bring them to a breeding scale. After 2-3 weeks the eggs hatch. When the young fishes are swimming free you can raise them with very fine infusoria. They grow quickly. |
