English name : Blackline Rasbora
Lively, peaceful schooling fish that you should keep together with other peaceful fishes in the community aquarium.  The aquarium should be planted densely on the sides and background.  In the middle you should leave a lot of free swimming space.  On the surface you should use some floating plants to dim the light at some places in the aquarium.  A regular changing of the water is necessary.

You should give them small live food.  Dry food is accepted as well.

Breeding is not easy.  You should transfer the parents to another aquarium with a lower water level.  After a few days 30-40 eggs are laid and fertilized.  Immediately after spawning the parents should be removed because they eat their own eggs.  After 36 hours the eggs hatch. When the young fishes are swimming free you can raise them with Artemia-nauplii.
