This large, lively schooling fish only can be kept in a very
large aquarium together with other fishes of the same size.
Smaller fishes are eaten because they think it is food.
They need a lot of free swimming space. The aquarium
should have a dark substrate, otherwise they get shy. You should give them powerful live food. Dry food is accepted as well. About breeding in the aquarium nothing is known.
