Predatory schooling fish, not suited for the aquarium at
home. This animal needs a lot of food so the water is
polluted quickly. A powerful filter is necessary.
The aquarium should be set up with driftwood and hard
plants.
You should give them large live food such as fish and large earthworms. Breeding is possible in a very large aquarium. The eggs are laid and fertilized between the roots of large plants. After 2 days the eggs hatch and 8-9 days later the young fishes are swimming free. You can raise them with baby brine shrimp. |
