|
Peaceful fish that should be kept together fish fishes that
live in the middle water layers. Every animal has his
own territory. The aquarium should be set up with
plants that can live in brackish water and some stones that
can be used for hiding places. The substrate should be
sandy. To give the fishes more resistance against
diseases it is wise to add 1-2 teaspoons sea-salt at 10
liters of water. You should give them live food and algae. Breeding is rather easy. When the water values are all right and the temperature is higher, up to 1000 eggs are laid and fertilized in caves. After the eggs are hatched the parents care for the fry. |
