You should keep this peaceful schooling fish together with
other small fishes. On the sides and the background
the aquarium should be planted densely. In the middle you
should leave a lot of free swimming space. You should feed them with small live food. Frozen and dry food is accepted as well. Breeding is easy. The eggs are laid and fertilized daily between fine leaved plants such as javamoss. You can use a spawning mop as well. The spawning material should be removed to a separate tank with the same water quality. After 12 - 14 days the eggs hatch. The young fishes can be raised with baby brine shrimp.
