Peaceful schooling fish that can be kept in a community aquarium.  You don't have to take special measures for this blind fish.  It is not necessary to darken the aquarium.  They leave plants in peace.

He is omnivorous. You should give them a great variety of live, frozen and dry food.

Breeding is easy at lower temperatures of 18-20°C (64-68°F).  After spawning the parents should be removed.  After 2-3 days the eggs hatch.  When the young fishes are swimming free you can raise them with Artemia-nauplii and fine crushed dry food.  The first weeks they can see, later they become blind.
