You should set up a large aquarium with a substrate of marbles and some fine leaved plants. The aquarium should stand on a sunny spot. You should feed the fishes very well. Each mating 20 - 50 eggs are laid and fertilized up to totally 300 eggs. After spawning the parents should be removed immediately. After 1-2 days the eggs hatch. The young fishes grow very fast. You can raise them with baby brine shrimp and fine crushed dry food. |
