| Peaceful schooling fish that needs a lot of free swimming
space.  The aquarium should be planted on the sides and
background with fine leaved plants.  They like the
morning sun.  They are frightened very quickly so you
should avoid unexpected movements in the neighbourhood of
the aquarium.  You can keep them best in the company of
other rainbow fishes. You should give them live food. Frozen and dry food are accepted as well. Breeding is not difficult. In a breeding tank with fine leaved plants such as javamoss several eggs are laid and fertilized daily. After 7-10 days the eggs hatch. You can raise the young fishes with small live food. They grow quickly. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
